Think Pink

Thus far, we have managed to focus solely on solutions for the modern gentleman. While many specialty men’s stores have added women’s departments — in our opinion, ceasing to be a "men’s store" — you will not find women’s clothing lines or handbags here. Someday, we may add a "Gifts for Women" department as a convenience for our male shoppers but that is down the road.

We have recently been giving thought as to which charity we should adopt as our own, a charity that fits our brand in the way Habitat for Humanity is a perfect fit for Home Depot. Breast cancer research has not been at the top of the list.

But a recent death from breast cancer of someone close to us forced us to ask what we could do. For the month of October, many retailers are selling special pink products and donating a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer research. We will do the same.

We do not have a ton of pink products, but a couple are Top 50 Sellers: the Fairway & Greene Classic Stripe Shirt in Pink and their Solid Lisle Shirt in Pink. For the month of October we will donate 20% of gross sales of any pink products on the site to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. To see a more detailed list of pink products, click here.

Wingtip Founder & CEO, Ami Arad is the quintessential modern gentleman. He has distinctive taste, an eclectic style, and dresses for every occasion. Ami developed his vision for Wingtip at a young age; even back in high school where four years of speech and debate meant weekends wearing a coat and tie, he was in his element. Years of working in upscale men’s clothing stores and socializing in cigar shops, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit, inspired Ami to develop Wingtip, a men’s specialty store and private social club.
