Artisan Pencil SharpeningArtisanal Pencil Sharpening. Coolest name for a business I’ve heard in a while. writes up David Rees, who started up Artisanal Pencil Sharpening, and charges $15 to “professionally” sharpen your pencil.

Of course, one of the tools he uses to sharpen pencils is the El Casco Pencil Sharpener with Suction Base, which we’ve been selling for over 5 years now. It is one of our favorite “gifts for the guy who has everything.”

David has just written an old school-inspired instruction manual on pencil sharpening, and he’s touring the country. We’ll try to get him into San Francisco if we can!
