Introducing the Gentleman’s Workbench

gentlemans_workbench_header$#!& happens. And sometimes it happens when you’re away from home. Of course at home you have everything you need for every conceivable gentlemanly emergency: an unpolished shoe, a missing button, tarnished cufflinks, an unsharpened straight razor. Should one of these emergencies occur when you’re in downtown San Francisco, we hope you’ll come see us because you can fix it yourself…for free.

Introducing the Gentleman’s Workbench, complete with just about every tool a modern gentleman might need to fix an unexpected issue. Never used Saphir’s award-winning shoe polish and curious if it really makes a difference? Grab an applicator brush, open a wax or polish, and try it yourself…on the house. Lost the brush that came with your suede loafers? Brush out the nap with ours. Lint on your coat? Hem come undone? Sterling belt buckle not been polished? Forgot to use foot powder with your sock-less loafers? We’ve got you covered on all those fronts and more. The Gentleman’s Workbench currently features the following:

  • Saphir Shoe Polishes (to shine your own shoes)
  • Shoe Whitener
  • Suede Brush
  • Deer Bone (for Cordovan shoes)
  • Button Sewing Kit
  • Vintage Tie Press
  • Hemming Tape
  • Hand-held Steamer
  • Leather Conditioner
  • Belt-Cutting Kit
  • Lint Roller
  • Garment Brush
  • Precision screw driver set (for adjusting sunglasses, switching watch bands)
  • On The Spot Stain Remover
  • Brass and Silver Polish
  • Gold Bond Foot Powder (for sockless days)
  • Clubman Moustache Wax
  • Leather Strop (for sharpening your straight razor)

While we’re sure we’ve got things for crises you hadn’t even thought of, it is possible we’ve missed one or two. If we have, drop us a note so we can fix it!
