Now Open: Leather Goods From Ghurka

Wingtip is pleased to offer a new line of American-made leather goods. Ghurka, with their headquarters in New York and their factory in Norwalk, Connecticut, has been creating fine, rugged, beautiful accessories since 1975.

In the early ’70s, Ghurka founder Marley Hodgson bid on campaign gear from a Ghurka regimental officer who was stationed in India in the early aughts (1900s, that is). The quality of the Ghurka soldier’s gear was remarkable. It was handcrafted, and battle-tested. And today’s pieces are similarly handcrafted in Connecticut, with a determination to sustain and revive the proud tradition of American-made leather goods. They are built to last you through whatever day-to-day battles you engage in.
